You just got an offer to work in Qatar. That's good news! You started computing your expected salary.. might be times three, four or even five of your current salary in the Philippines..but hey, before calling out the entire barangay for a feast, you should know first how much you are gonna spend for the cost of living and how much goes to your savings....
Qatar do not charge taxes to employees, so whatever you receive from your company, that is your theoretical "net salary". Ready? Let's do the math then.
The cost for a flat with three bedrooms would be around 6,000QR (converted to php, multiply it by 12.5) Are you serious? That's already 75,000php! Unfortunately, I am serious. But don't worry. Pinoys almost always have solutions to everything here. They have come up to sharing accomodation to fellow filipino. Now, if you have three bedrroms in a flat, you can rent a room for 2,000QR! I see that you are still frowning... Don't worry, if you are gullible, you can still share the room to maybe three more persons. so that would be 500QR. I see, that's more like it. Just be sure the person you share your room with is trustworthy. :)
